Memory Box What? Memory boxes are decorative boxes (usually made of wood)which contain personal items important to their owner. Who? Create a memory box for either: Scout, Jem, Dill, or Boo. Where? You will work on this project at home and in class. How? You may use a shoebox or other container to make your memory box; it doesn't have to be made of wood! Do make sure to decorate your box and make it look attractive! This should be something that your character would be proud of. Include items important to your chosen character. Review chapters 1-9 for inspiration. What events have occurred? What might your character keep to remember these events? You should have at least five items in the box. Why? Your memory box should show that you are familiar with the plot and the characters in TKAM. This is a MAJOR grade! This is due on Thursday (9/16) and Friday (9/17). Suggestions: Letters, photographs, postcards and souvenirs are all good items for the memory box and can be easily created! Think about whom your character is close to and what he/she does for fun. Remember, this should represent your chosen character!
