ENG OA1      The Persona Assignment         


In Fifth Business you studied the concept of persona and how a person's persona
changes and is made up of personality traits and other outward appearances of
people that are admired or used as role models.

Suppose that you could actually construct a persona and change yourself to mirror
the various aspects that you have incorporated into your persona.  What parts of
what people would you choose.  Body by Oprah or Cindy?  Brain of Bart or Einstein? 
Personality of Reznor or Donaghue?

You choose.  Make up the fictional you but EXPLAIN what the parts are that you
chose and why?  Don't forget that a choice based on nothing more than superficial
concerns may lead you into problems.  

Write the whole thing up and don't forget a good conclusion to sum up.  

OR you could do the same thing but choose a perfect time in history to live.  The
time period can be made up of the desirable parts of several eras in history and
could even include the future.  Just be sure to explain why you chose the time
periods that you did. 


Length:  Fairly long, about 500 words.  This is a creative application  or synthesis
of many parts.

Rough copy and/or planning notes are required.
