ENG WRITING FOLDER INSTRUCTIONS 1- Choose a topic from the list below. 2- Brain storm the topic using a thought web and explore the various ideas that the topic suggests. 3- Choose a type of writing from the list below. 4- Start writing a rough draft of the topic using the type of writing that you have selected. If a piece of writing does not work out DO NOT THROW IT AWAY! Save all of your writing in your folder. Even failed pieces can be the basis of brilliant material later on. 5- When you have finished a rough draft, edit it. 6- Write a more polished piece if your rough draft is really messy and then hand it to another student for proof reading and to get any opinions. 7- Polish the writing and then put it in your folder for marking. DON'T FORGET TO FILL OUT THE CHECK LIST IN YOUR FOLDER AND STAPLE ALL OF THE WORK TOGETHER.
