THE REVIEW OF ANYTHING ASSIGNMENT THE ASSIGNMENT Your assignment will be to deliver an oral review of something, hand-in a written version for your writing folder and then complete a questionnaire about your review. Pick something, anything except a film or a book. You will be doing a review of this object/person/thing. Read, study, and apply the concept of the informal essay and then read, study and apply the information about the review. Your subject can be anything such as chewing gum or karate or earrings or potato chips. 1. You will present an ORAL REVIEW of about 3 to 6 minutes for the class. You may use any props or audio-visual materials which will make the review more interesting. However, do not let the medium obscure or hinder the message. You will be the central focus. 2. THE WRITING ASSIGNMENT will be for your folder and will be neatly handwritten or typed and will count as your folder assignment. YOU MUST INCLUDE A ROUGH COPY. 3. THE QUESTIONNAIRE will test you on how well you followed instructions and whether you included aspects that were studied during our discussion of the informal essay and the review.
